Nordstrom Rack will open up a store in spring 2025 at the old Bed Bath & Beyond location in Manalapan Commons. The retail chain announced the plans in a news release on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

The store will join other chains in Manalapan Commons like Best Buy, Panera Bread, Five Below, PetSmart, and Raymour & Flanigan.

"We look forward to being a part of the Manalapan Township community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices," said Nordstrom Rack Stores president Gemma Lionello. "We're excited to grow our footprint in the region and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience."

Nordstrom Rack offers large discounts on clothing, accessories, beauty products, shoes, and home goods. The products are made by many of the same brands found in the more expensive Nordstrom stores.

The 26,000-square-foot store will be in the plaza at the corner of Route 9 and Craig Road in Manalapan Township.

"Nordstrom Rack brings fashion to this center for the first time, broadening its appeal to the surrounding community," said Leigh Lyons, senior vice president of leasing for Urban Edge Properties. "We received interest from several large tenants before deciding to proceed with Nordstrom, supporting our view that Manalapan Commons is a prime retail location in the trade area."

The company said it has four Nordstrom stores and nine Nordstrom Rack locations in New Jersey.
